SHARON HISTORICAL SOCIETY SELLING
NEW SHS ALUMNI ADDRESS BOOK

Attention all who graduated or attended “Old” Sharon High School on South Main Street with Class of 1960 or earlier!  Would you like to locate friends from your years at “Old” Sharon High?  A second edition of the “old” Sharon High Alumni Address Booklet has just recently been published and is now available for purchase at the Sharon Historical Society‘s Yellow Schoolhouse Museum, 16 High Street.

The spiral bound booklet lists all SHS graduating classes from 1916 through 1960.  Names are listed by class and also in an alphabetical index.  The list includes graduates as well as others who attended old Sharon High.  The cost is only $12.00 or $15.00 per book if you wish to have it mailed.  Checks may be made payable to:  Sharon Historical Society, Inc. and mailed to:  Sharon Historical Society, Inc., Post Office Box 175, Sharon, MA 02067-0175.

The first edition of the Alumni Address Booklet was printed following the 1998 Sharon High Homecoming for SHS classes 1920 to 1957, the last class to graduate from old Sharon High, now known as the Wilber School Apartments.

Following the more recent SHS Homecoming, held August 31, 2012,  a few members of the Homecoming Committee decided to update the original booklet.
Those who worked tirelessly preparing the book are Shirley Harris Schofield, ’46; Jean McDonald, ’50; Janet Fleming Haynes, ’52; Elsie Lavezzo Goodwin, ’56; and Debbie Johnson DeBassio, ’59.

The committee is grateful to the students of the Southeastern Regional Vo-Tech High School’s Graphic Communications Program for making this booklet a success.

The committee hopes you will enjoy perusing the pages recalling old friends and acquaintances from the past or finding a former Sharonite who might live near you.
